What to Wear // Spring Engagement Shoots

If you are getting married in the Fall, Spring is the perfect time for Engagements photos. If you choose to do them, they are the first thing on your wedding to-do list that you will accomplish as a newly engaged couple. Planning an engagement shoot does take some time, but lean on your photographer for location ideas and what outfits to choose. With my experience I have come to find that choosing your outfits are solely based on your personalities, the weather and how comfortable you want to be, which is very important. And depending on how much time is allowed for the shoot, determines how many outfits you can bring. I recommend bringing – a fancier outfit, a stylish/casual outfit, and then finally a more laid back outfit (think jeans, shorts, sports team shirts, college attire etc.)

Below are some color inspiration outfits for the Spring but also check out my last engagement outfit post, where I provide more in detail on how to accomplish a very nice complimentary outfit with your fiance. www.dhdesignphotography.com/blog/2014/5/14/what-to-wear-engagement-edition

For those couples who like it a little more upscale, this elevated cocktail-inspired combination is lovely for urban shoots. Serenity Blue and Snorkel Blue are paired together for a couple that looks lovely together without completely matching.
