Mike & Sonja's Kansas City wedding this past February was absolutely amazing. From getting ready to the reception, everything was picture perfect. We even got pretty lucky with the weather. Mike and Sonja's love story is also one of my favorites. KC girl meets a boy originally from St. Louis and they fall in love. Being a house divided, they are still the perfect match. Look closely at their custom cake toppers, exact replicas of the two of them. <3 And show cases their love for baseball. One of my favorite wedding details ever. Thank you Mike and Sonja for allowing me to be apart of your wedding journey. Every step from the very beginning through to the end was a blast. I wish you both lots of luck and happiness in your marriage.Read More
What an amazing start to the new year by being a part of Jake and Ally's wedding yesterday. I am beyond blessed to capture this oh-so-sweet couple's big day. We did have quite the scare with this "ice storm" warning, but the weather held off and we were able to shoot outside at the Museum at Prairie Fire, and Iron Woods Park. YAY! Here is a quick sneak peek of their beautiful day.Read More
When I say I had the time of my life photographing a wedding, I was not exaggerating with this one. The love and the laughter that surrounded Shane and Amanda's day was absolutely amazing. I started the day off by splitting my time between the two of them getting ready, Amanda at the Rumely Tractor Event Space and Shane getting his beard shaped and hair styled at Buffalo Mane in Downtown KC. Before leaving to head to the church, they secretly exchanged gifts and notes back at Rumely, keeping the first look for the alter. Thank you both for letting me witness such love and an amazingly great time with your close friends and family. I will forever cherish this time with you.Read More
Mike and Ashley married last summer at The Stanley in Lee's Summit, and it was beautiful! Watching the girls getting ready, the first look, the perfect ceremony and finally to the reception, every step of the day was a blast to witness and photograph. Through out the day, I decided to try something a little different for me, I took snippets of video, along with taking photos. It was a fun challenge and I put together this video for them as a wedding gift. In the future, I hope to incorporate this feature in future weddings. Enjoy!Read More
Yet another beautiful Kansas City wedding last year at the Foundation down in the Westbottoms. Details were perfect and Kaitlin and Garrett looked amazing while showcasing their love for one another. Which is why I absolutely love what I do!Read More
Beginning of the new year is always a reflective time for me to reminisce about how amazing the year prior was. I catch up on business to-dos and take the time to show off sessions I have not had the time to blog during the busy season. I want to start off by showcasing The Ayers wedding. A beautiful fall wedding that set the bar for being amazing. Bridal photos were shot around Kansas City, followed by Matt and Dacia saying their I-do's and partying the night away at the Vox Theater, a gorgeous all in one venue. Thank you Matt and Dacia for choosing me to be apart of your wedding journey. The engagement session, designing your wedding invitations and shooting your wedding, such a pleasure!Read More
Lake Quivira Country Club was a dream to shoot at for Elizabeth & Ryan's Kansas City wedding back in May. Everything was perfect from the coordination, the staff, decorations, ceremony, and even the weather. We had a little scare at first and got to watch the storm roll in during the ceremony, but it made for some amazing quick stormy photos directly after. Thank you for allowing me to capture such a gorgeous and beautiful wedding. Getting to know you two from our first consultation, your gorgeous Kansas City engagement session and meeting and enjoying your family on your wedding day was a true blessing. Thank you!
Also, a big thank you to my second shooter Christine Ann Photography for helping me capture their day.Read More
When I first met Melissa for our consultation, I knew we would get along and that being apart of her and Kyle's wedding journey was going to be fantastic. We had a blast at their Save the Date session and then again for their beautiful fall Kansas City engagement session. When April came around, the weather and day couldn't of been more perfect. Their Lee's Summit wedding at the Aspen Room at the Stanley was just gorgeous, from the outdoor roof ceremony, to the fun reception. Thank you Kyle & Melissa for allowing to capture your special day. It was a true honor getting to know the two of you and your family throughout your journey. I wish nothing but the best of luck in your marriage.Read More
I'm so happy to finally get the time to blog this beautiful August Kansas City wedding. In all of it's greatness, it really deserves a chance to be showcased. Phaedra and Will traveled all the way from Oregon to be with family and celebrate their big day at The Bride & The Bauer in the Crossroads District, Kansas City. To start, The Bauer has got to be one of my favorite venues so far. It's elegant, intimate, rustic, cozy and very well decorated. It helped put a custom touch to their wedding.
From the moment of meeting Phaedra, her mother and maid of honor at our consultation meeting, I knew this was going to be an amazing wedding. She was so sweet and when I met Will the day of, he was such a gentlemen. They compliment each other so well.
The wedding was so much fun to shoot and everything was just perfect! Thank you Will and Phaedra for allowing me to be apart of your wedding. I wish you both many years of happiness and the best of luck in your marriage together.

Jake & Olivia's wedding was one to remember. The entire day was just absolutely perfect. Olivia and her girls looked beautiful, and Jake and his boys looked super handsome. They also incorporated two dream locations, the ceremony was located at Union Station and the reception at the Boulevard Brewing Company. Both amazing venues! I fell in love with Jake & Olivia's personality together when I first met them for their Lawrence Engagement Session. Had such a great time then and an even better time photographing their wedding. The entire bridal party was super sweet and a ton of fun. We encountered some heat but that definitely didn't stop them from being troopers for pictures. Thank you for allowing me to be apart of your gorgeous wedding and I am truly honored to of gotten the chance to meet such a beautiful couple. Cheers to many years of happiness.
