I can’t even begin to tell you how excited I am to share Shane & Amanda’s engagement session. This session was beyond amazing and fun. Too much fun actually. It’s an awesome experience when you get to shoot a good friends wedding journey and help create and be apart of new memories. The number one reason why I love what I do.
This session included some of my favorite spots in KC, very stylish outfits and shoes to match (don’t miss the shoes pics from each outfit, had to be done!) Oh and at the end of the session I got plowed by a runner, we couldn’t stop laughing. Hope you enjoy these previews as mush as I do and give them comment love below <3Read More
Brogan was the perfect surprise for his parents, as they patiently waited to see if he was a boy or a girl. Back in May I shot their gorgeous maternity session at Heritage Park and we talked about how excited they were about their decision to wait and how excited they were to welcome their new baby. Dad did an amazing job with the custom paint in the room and absolutely loved how mom decorated the room to reflect dad's heritage. She even made the dream catcher which was amazing in person! Courtney & Victor, Brogan was so perfect to photograph and I cannot wait to watch him grow.Read More
I wanted to share this amazing engagement session from last fall of Melissa & Kyle before I blogged their wedding day! I just love the colors in this set and the locations we went to around Kansas City were beautiful.Read More
These beautiful parents to be are patiently waiting for their new bundle of joy. I can not wait to meet her. But while we wait, here are my favorites from my Kansas City maternity session with Mike & Sarah.Read More
Amanda and Jesse's engagement session was a dream; wide open fields, horses, their beloved dog and truck, and of course the love between them. This sort of stuff makes my heart sing. I also had some fun shooting flash to capture the gorgeous sunset that night. It was amazing!!Read More
A couple weeks ago, I met up with Courtney & Victor at the beautiful Heritage Park to capture their first photos of their growing family. They will be expecting their first bundle of joy right around Father's Day and will find out if it's a little girl or little boy. These two were glowing the entire session while posing and focusing on the baby bump, which is one of the main reasons why I love maternity sessions so much; the love and emotions that are involved.
A grand adventure is about to begin.

Another McInnis baby has stolen my heart. Mr. Maximus Alexander McInnis was born September 15th at 5:54pm. I was so honored to document this special birth making it my 2nd with this amazing family. They've become so near and dear to my heart and can't wait to capture all of Max's milestones.
So excited about Dustin and Amber's Lawrence wedding this September. Spending the evening with them last month, I got to see just how adorable they are together. Walking around the Crossroads in downtown Kansas City is always a good time, especially if you're trying to beat the rain. We got our session done just in time before the storm, but I think we got some great shots. Be sure to scroll through the entire gallery for a fun surprise :)
